Prairie Heights Elementary School is one of two schools in the Hanover School District #28. It is home to approximately 120 students Pre-K thru 5th grade. We have many experienced teachers that provide all students with a rigorous curriculum with many supports built in. Our class sizes tend to be smaller, which allows our teachers to provide that extra support that all students can benefit from. Our philosophy on student behavior is centered around PBIS, Restorative Practices and promoting positive behavior. The staff are role models for respect and provide daily practice for students. Every student is engaged in daily 30-minute reading intervention. We have a solid group of parent volunteers who provide many activities throughout the academic year.
