Hello, as you may have heard, our district was awarded the BEST Grant from the state. This is a grant that provides funds for renovation and an addition to PHE. The state will provide 60% of the $13 million dollar cost and the community will fund 40% through the bond approved in 2022. This will bring all students into the building eliminating the modulars and enhancing the interior. New systems such as a water filtration system will be installed.
Recently, your Board of Education has been asked if the building could be relocated to the same campus as the JR/SR High School. As your board, we do not take these queries lightly and as there are many, we feel that your feedback is most important as we move forward with helping our “littles” to have a good learning environment.
So, we would like to hear from you. Below are the proposals that have been asked of us by community members. Please select the one you feel is best for our District and provide any comments as well. We look forward to hearing from you!

Hola, como habrá escuchado recientemente nuestro distrito recibió una ayuda llamada BEST Grant del estado. Esto es una ayuda que provee fondos para la renovación y adición la escuela de Prairie Heights Elementary. El estado va proveer el 60% de los 13 millones de dólares y la comunidad financiará 40% con un bono que fue aprobado en el 2022. Esto traerá a todos los estudiantes a un solo edificio eliminando los modulares y poder mejorar el interior. Habrá nuevos sistemas, como un sistema de filtración de agua.
Recientemente, se les pregunto a los miembros del Consejo de Educación que si la escuela se podrá trasladar al mismo edificio que la secundaria (JR/SR High School). Siendo miembros del consejo no tomamos estas preguntas a la ligera y como son muchas preguntas creemos que sus opiniones son importantes para continuar adelante ayudando a nuestros pequeños a tener un buen ambiente para seguir aprendiendo.
