The Hanover Board of Education is pleased to announce an exciting change that reflects our shared history, values, and commitment to education.

Effective July 1, 2025, Prairie Heights Elementary School will officially be renamed Hanover Elementary School. This decision honors the deep historical and cultural significance of the Hanover name while continuing our mission to provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all students.

For years, Prairie Heights Elementary has been a cornerstone of education in our community, fostering growth and success for our students. As we move forward under the name Hanover Elementary, we remain dedicated to upholding the same level of excellence and pride that define our schools.

The district will take all necessary steps to ensure a smooth transition, including updating signage, records, and communications. We are committed to keeping our students, staff, and families informed throughout this process.
