Deadline to Register before the First Day of School is Approaching

Parents,

As we near the first day of school, we would like to remind our families that every student MUST be registered before the first day of school. NO child will be permitted to get on a bus without the transportation form completed before August 15, 2024. There are no exceptions.

If you have taken the time to register, we thank you! If you have not, there are only a couple days left to do so before the first day of school. Remember to verify each form in your email!! This is a safety precaution to protect parents and students.

Preschool: Enrollment is completed through UPK

Families with a child that will be 4 years old by October 1, 2024 will apply through Universal Preschool. https://upk.colorado.gov/
Families that are currently enrolled in the 3 year old program need to apply through UPK by March 28th in order to be automatically placed in Prairie Heights Preschool. Families will be notified and will have from April 3-11 to ACCEPT or DECLINE this placement. After March 28th, ALL families that apply will go through the UPK matching process like last year.
During the matching process, Prairie Heights Preschool will be notified of matches first and will have the option to accept or decline them. After that, families will also be notified and have the option to accept or decline the match.

Once students are officially placed in the Prairie Heights Preschool Program, families will be contacted by the preschool about district enrollment processes.
