Translations provide an approximate representation of the original content of the website. Hanover School District 28  does not ensure the accuracy, reliability, or timeliness of information produced in regards to translated content; translation occurs with the help of apps, such as Google Translate or DeepL.  Additionally, some elements such as applications, files, or items, including graphs, forms, photos, or PDFs, cannot be translated or accurately translated.

Automated translations are not a substitute for human or conventional translation methods. In cases of doubt about the accuracy of translated information, the original version is authoritative.

TRANSLATION REQUESTS PROCEDURES

All requests for public record(s) maintained by the district shall be specific enough to allow the district to efficiently identify the requested record and respond to the request. To clarify and facilitate the processing of a request to translate, Hanover School District 28 will only accept requests made in writing via the hanoverhornets.org Translation Request form.

A request is considered “received” by Hanover School District 28 the day a request is made using the online form. A request received after 4:00 p.m. mountain standard time or any day Hanover School District 28 is closed, is considered received when opened following the closure.

If the requested document(s) are not readily available at the time of the person’s request, the person requesting the translation shall be informed of that fact. The webmaster will then make the translation available within a reasonable time of the person’s request.

Hanover School District 28 shall make every effort to respond within three working days.
